Our location in Irving, TX, currently has an opportunity for Associate Systems Integration Specialist, Failure Analysis


Responsible for analysis and failure confirmation of returned parts, subassemblies, and instruments across multiple instrument platforms. Conducts hands-on troubleshooting to maintain and investigate Alinity c, i, and s instruments, including both hardware and system software issues. Collaborates directly with Engineering and Product Quality Assurance to support reliability and complaint investigations.

  • Writes, executes, and provides technical review of failure confirmation test protocols and test records in accordance with governing procedures across multiple instrument platforms.
  • Troubleshoots complex issues to determine root cause and propose possible solutions. Leads investigations of moderately complex issues at system level and communicates results to the team.
  • Works hands-on to operate, maintain, and support systems, including installs, repairs, part replacements, and TSBs, across multiple instrument platforms.
  • Collaborate with various organizations/disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Product Quality Assurance, Service, Manufacturing, Reliability, R&D)
  • Resolves issues quickly by working with team members and others as appropriate
  • Manages deliverables assigned
  • Implements and maintains the effectiveness of the quality system. Follows functional area policies and procedures.
  • Recommends and participates in continuous improvement initiatives


Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Science, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred. 0 years' work experience with degree or sufficient transferable experience to demonstrate functional equivalence to a degree. May have knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics. Good Lab Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, laboratory duties, PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Data representation

  • Bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Science, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred.
  • Root cause analysis experience
  • 2 years of experience with Good Lab Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, laboratory duties, problem solving
  • Highly motivated individual that can independently drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members (internal and externally)
  • Proficient technical writing experience in a similar industry, preferred in medical device
