Wednesday - Saturday 1st Shift

The primary responsibility of this role is to schedule QC operations supporting clinical and commercial CAR-T manufacturing at the Summit NJ site. The role will require significant collaboration across internal and external functions to ensure on-time release of final product. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to balance multiple competing priorities, manage projects, and build QC operations best practices in support of site start-up and new product introduction.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • General understanding GMP QC testing, aseptic processing, and molecular biology
  • General knowledge of QC testing and interdependencies
  • General Knowledge of microbiology and cell culture
  • General Knowledge of cGMP/Pharmaceutical regulations
  • General proficiency in planning / ERP systems and analytics tools
  • General proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective presentation development and delivery skills
  • General Technical writing capability
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to solve routine and complex problems
  • Ability to provide on-call support in case of emergent issues
  • Proficient in computerized system testing
  • Ability to travel


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • 0-2 years of experience supporting high through put QC operations
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and maintain detailed site plans for QC operations including in-process, finished goods, stability testing, protocol driven and qualification testing
  • Primary point of contact for the QC Scheduling team.
  • Develop and implement KPI and reporting capabilities
  • Collaborate with IT Business Partners in support of modeling, scheduling simulation implementations and automated scheduling tools
  • Support the S&OP process providing site level QC capacities and operational capabilities
  • Maintain and update site procedures for CAR-T QC scheduling functions.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
