Wet Age Related Macular Degeneration (wet AMD) is the leading cause of severe vision loss in people over the age of 65. It is estimated that 1.75 million people in the US are living with wet AMD. As the disease progresses, cell damage increases, reducing vision quality. This progression can quickly lead to a complete loss of central vision, leaving people unable to read, drive, recognize faces and depriving them of their independence. Prompt diagnosis, intervention and adherence to treatment are essential.

The Senior Brand Manager - Professional Marketing will be responsible for working with their manager, and across the marketing team and key partners to bring our launch strategies and plans to life through the development of marketing initiatives and programs that will ensure the success of the product. Position will support the brand positioning and the resulting professional marketing strategy that will inform the creation and deployment of promotional communications and messages for the HCP customer audience. This includes both personal and non-personal activities and messaging. Importantly, this role will support the creation and execution of a strategic vision to translate the brand positioning in order to create the desired beliefs and understanding of the brands defining attributes across our segments of HCP customers.

•Develop plans and programs that will deliver on brand strategies for the assigned marketing areas
•Manage assigned budget to deliver assigned work within budget

Minimum requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree (Masters/MBA preferred, but not required)
•Experience: 1-3 years pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare experience preferred
•Understanding of Ophthalmology therapeutic area or equivalent medical specialty including knowledge of key stakeholders along the continuum of care is preferred
•Outstanding collaboration, adept at working with a diverse team to create best in class marketing programs.
•Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
•Exceptional time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills.
•Demonstrated marketing acumen and business aptitude
•High degree of customer focus
•Outstanding level of drive, and the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
•The position requires some travel (estimated 15-30%)
