Maintenance Planner

Job Description Summary

The Maintenance will be responsible planning, scheduling, parts procurement, and training coordination. Supporting Metem's Maintenance team with day to day activities and essential responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities, by determining material, equipment, and labor needs to complete maintenance tasks economically and efficiently
  • Develop maintenance schedules and assist Leadership in determining job priorities. Make changes and adjustments to the maintenance/contractor work schedule
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager to maintain the CMMS system by assuring that work order, asset, inventory, and other data is complete and up to date
  • Maintain and enter purchase requisitions and follow up on deliveries
  • Keep Leadership informed of operating changes and difficulties and submit recommendations for improvement
  • Coordination and scheduling of waste shipment management, external inspections (Fire, FM Global, Wastewater), and on-site EHS inspections
  • Actively participate in safety concern review and scheduling
  • Daily contractor scheduling and safety management
  • KPI reporting / publishing to Leadership and the broader network
  • Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties

  • Associates Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

Additional Information
  • Base pay starting $30/hr.
  • 2nd and 3rd shift differential 10%
