Job Description:

Blackstone's Insurance Solutions Group offers analysts the experience on a professional team whose work involves insurance M&A and delivering Blackstone's investment management expertise and products to insurance companies. Analysts at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of investing. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, analysts are expected to assume integral roles on deal teams.

Analysts work across the three verticals: M&A, Asset Allocation and Quantitative Strategy. On the M&A team, analysts will engage in the investment in insurance businesses across a variety of structures and geographies. On the Asset Allocation team, analysts will work on portfolio level relative value analysis that incorporates views on the market environment and credit views from other Blackstone teams. The Asset Allocation team works closely with other Blackstone teams to develop new asset classes that are accretive to insurance companies' investment portfolios. On the Quantitative Strategy team, analysts will build analysis to optimize asset allocation, value insurance liabilities, and manage risks that meet the insurance companies' various targets and constraints.
