Job Summary
  • Responsible for financial analysis, budget preparation, financial control, forecasting, reporting and for evaluating alternate financial plans.
  • Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.

  • Summarizes detailed revenue/expense data and compare summarized claim data against fee schedules and contracts.
  • Produce contract performance reports, modeling of reimbursement rates, evaluation of financial contract modifications and compiling and monitoring key managed care statistics.
  • Research and prepare evaluations on a variety of projects/problems (financial, statistical, operational and cost/benefit analyses). Develop financial models; collect and evaluate data, analyze results. Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial payments/plans.
  • Produce analyses/reports for department and/or management.
  • Collect and evaluate data, develop and maintain financial models, analyze results and conduct scenario analyses to forecast balance sheet, cash flow and regulatory capital. Support rating agency relationships as needed (e.g., maintain rating agency models, validate report data, facilitate responses to inquiries, etc.).
  • Support or perform daily cash desk activities, forecasting, and bank administration, as needed.
  • Support or complete access audits and vendor/investment audit activities (e.g., SSAE18 reviews, compliance reporting, etc.).
  • Support, and potentially lead, projects as a subject matter expert. Follow and conduct audit processes and review internal controls to ensure financial transactions are accurate, timely and comply with accounting standards, principles and company policy.
  • Provides support for internal and external audits.
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation to ensure financial records are consistent and comply with company policies and GAAP.
  • Summarize and present complex financial information to senior management from time to time. Identifies business process improvement opportunities, tests solutions, and revises desk level procedures to reflect changes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate/digitize processes.
  • Detailed process mapping to understand process gaps/opportunity areas. Identify projects to improve customer experience and SLA enhancement.
  • Research and respond timely and accurately to customer (internal and external) inquiries. Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge and Experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess the process knowledge and people skills to complete accurate assignments and communicate results.
  • Typically, requires advanced knowledge of Finance and Accounting typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Typically, requires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups), Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • May have relevant industry certifications or licenses (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional).

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
