Dispensary Technician - Night Shift

Site Name: USA - New York - Oak Hill Posted Date: Aug 19 2021 $2000 Sign-On Bonus The Dispensary Technician is responsible for the dispensing of raw materials for bulk product (liquid and powder formulations) which are formulated to finished goods. Includes the weighing of raw materials, the operation of various processing equipment and the documentation of these operations. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Perform all activities while focusing on safety and compliance Creating Transfer Orders to request raw materials from the warehouse Printing out batch documentation for batches to be dispensed Capable of working in the powder room on the first floor Ability to weigh and document raw materials for batch production Assign weighed raw materials to batches Conduct inventories of raw materials and products Perform weekly PMs in respective work space Capable of performing basic SAP transactions associated with tasks listed above Understand and comply with all pertinent SOPs, WIs, Forms, Batch Documentation and GMP guidelines. Participate in efforts to consistently reduce waste Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: High School diploma or equivalent 1 + years experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work a rotating schedule 7pm - 7:30am Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Able to effectively communicate and work with Co-Workers, Management and other departments Ability to ware respiratory protection to perform specific tasks Ability to routinely lift 55 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time Ability to work overtime to fulfill business need Ability to operator electric pallet jack Demonstrated computer skills (Data entry, email, file access, Microsoft Word and Excel) Confident in the use of basic math calculations, percentages, fractions and decimal notation Familiar with difference measurement schemes (e.g. Kilograms vs pounds) Why GSK?
