Summary of Job Duties:

The Dental Clinic Manager will coordinate all dental outreach programs for UA Little Rock Children International. This is a full time position with full benefits. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.


Qualifications:


Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Four (4) year degree plus two years of specialized training OR two (2) to three (3) years experience in oral health care or other healthcare program and or clinic management.


Preferred Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR two (2) to three (3) years of experience managing or with administrative responsibilities in a clinical setting.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage clinic operations of the Future Smiles Dental Clinic, school based dental clinic located inside of Wakefield Elementary School and all dental outreach programs;
  • Work in close collaboration with Little Rock School District, UAMS Dental Hygiene, UA Pulaski Technical College, Delta Dental, Arkansas Children's Hospital, other partners and CI programs to increase oral health care access to children and youth;
  • Work closely with CI Business Manager to efficiently manage all budget operations and grant funding by keeping accurate records, as well as providing timely reporting of expenditures;
  • Track, report and analyze data regarding dental screenings, dental visits, income and expendituresutilizing Eaglesoft Dental Software and Excel to present this data to partners in graphs, professional reports and presentations, as well as required by grant agreements;
  • Represent the organization professionally by fostering relationships with established partners and actively seeking out prospective partners, community groups and funding agencies;
  • Plan and coordinate the Dental Health Action Team;
  • Supervise Dental Program Staff;
  • Maintain and upkeep clinic compliance with regulatory agencies, dental records; conduct regular monitoring, following agency M & E protocol and timeline;
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills;
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Have demonstrated knowledge of oral health care for children and families;
  • Demonstrated ability and expertise in program coordination and delivery with multiple partners;
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare professional reports;
  • Ability to motivate and inspire staff, dental program participants and partners;
  • Energetic and passionate about oral health care for diverse constituents;
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, recordkeeping skills, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines;
  • Strong verbal and written communication for internal and external engagements;
  • Demonstrated teamwork and problem-solving skills;
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.


Salary Information:
$40,000
