Our Role:

PPC’s Trade Management Team, located in Newark NJ, is seeking a bright, organized, motivated, energetic individual to perform core operations functions around Uniform Commercial Code f(UCC) filings and to support securities custody bank activities, as well as to provide Executive Assistant support to two vice-presidents and an operations team of 20 other associates. The Sr. Operations Associate will perform operations and administrative work of moderate to significant difficulty and complexity.

Your Impact:
  • Primary responsibility for PPC’s UCC filing and tracking processes in the ILien system both at the time of original transactions and ongoing re-filings.
  • Follow up on UCC issues with PPC deal teams, attorneys, and borrowers.
  • Deposit and withdrawal functions for Physical Private Placement bonds.
  • Support bond re-registration and tracking processes as needed.
  • Reconciling data.
  • Backing up other operations team members associated with trade support activities.
  • Provide direct administrative support for two operations Vice Presidents and a staff of 20.
  • Onboarding and offboarding of staff (22)
  • Coordinating Systems access for staff (22)
  • Procurement
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for principals with other Prudential associates and with internal/external clients
  • Organize and manage registration, hotel and general travel arrangements for offsite meetings, conferences and seminars for multiple team members
  • Prepare and submit expense and travel vouchers to Accounts Payable for processing and reconciliation of any errors/discrepancies
  • Prepare spreadsheets and/or PowerPoint presentations of moderate to significant complexity
  • Type and proofread letters, term sheets, legal documents and charts/tables/graphs.
  • Special projects as assigned

Your Required Skills:
  • Four-year degree (or equivalent). Preferred majors include Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
