The Operations Program Manager IV manages the Operations Program Management (OPM) function in Wayne, New Jersey as part of our newly formed Integrated Communication Solutions (ICS) Product Line. The OPM manager will oversee and manage a team of OPMs who manage the Operations project(s) and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Responsibilities are as follows:
  • Leads the Wayne, NJ OPM function in meeting or exceeding business and quality objectives associated with the development and delivery of company products - in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Influences product design and material selection to drive a reduction in Unit Production Cost.
  • Works with Supplier Partnerships to lead and shape the manufacturing fulfillment strategy for production of the business' products through development of an outsourcing plan or deployment of internal manufacturing capabilities.
  • Supports the ICS Product Line Operations Director in managing the Operations capital strategy and resulting budget in support of the ICS Product Line Business.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree
Experience in large Program development and transition to production, Program Management

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's degree, ability to obtain higher level classification clearances
AS9145 understanding or implementation
