Parsons is providing construction management services for projects performed by third party contractors or by government agency stakeholders to include; inspecting, scheduling, claims analysis/defense, quality control/quality assurance, testing and inspection, change orders/estimate, commissioning services; and construction oversight on multiple and varied complexity delivery orders.


Parsons is seeking a Scheduler to perform the following:
  • Provides project management consultation on factors affecting the timely completion of projects.
  • Creates, maintains, updates, analyzes, and reports on engineering and construction project schedules.
  • Works with design engineers and construction engineers to optimize project schedules and mitigate schedule delays.
  • Analyzes schedule related claims and change orders.
  • Reports to Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Program Manager.
  • Performs special analysis for schedules established with Primavera Software P6
  • Frequent communication with Project Managers for both government and subcontractors at site.
  • Prepares plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluations.
  • Analyzes progress reports against the schedule.
  • Monitors schedules and reviews them with procurement and engineering groups
  • Maintains liaison with the project team for schedule revision and update.
  • Supports Program Controls Manager and Scheduling Manager in accomplishing project status review and performance control.
  • This is a full time position, based in downtown Washington, DC.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 15+ years of related work experience.
  • Must be a proficient / expert level operator of Primavera P6.8.
  • Must hold a current CCM or PMP certification.
  • Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a federal background investigation.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Requires basic construction knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, as well as familiarity with industry practices is required
