Facilities operations is responsible for the sustaining the many facilities' systems supporting manufacturing and the maintenance required from both a reliability, safety, and cost persepctive.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting 24/7 operation of manufacturing site
  • Troubleshooting issues on facilities systems and correcting when applicable
  • Participating in operations permit and team meetings
  • Evaluation of SOP documents and implementing improvements
  • Technical support/understanding of wide breadth of systems
  • Understanding and manipulation of SCADA and other HMI systems
  • Collaboration with other facilities departments on site/project specific issues (engineering, ESH, Site Services, etc)
  • Working in shift-based schedule to better sustain around-clock operation
  • Evaluate systems from both a 5S, reliability, and cost perspective


Minimum requirements
• Minimum education (High School Diploma/GED)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Displays technical proficencies and understanding of all types of manufacturing equipment
