Distributed Control-M Pilot/Testing Lead

Upon resumption of normal operations, this role may be performed at our Arlington Heights, Illinois office.

Role Duties include:
  • Control M Pilot for UAT & Prod instances for a Multi-Layer Application Eco System
  • Command a clear understanding of all requirements for assigned projects.
  • Ability to work with diverse application teams that include Distributed & MF
  • Ability to execute, maintain an extremely complex Control M batch that is multi-tiered and interdependent.
  • Familiarity with invoking jobs that contain DataStage Scripts, DB2 7 Oracle invocations.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure application landscape that requires constant batch tuning.
  • Role requires capacity planning & batch benchmarking
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Establish an automation plan for Pilot activities
  • MF knowledge a plus, CA7 knowledge is a plus
  • Work in an agile environment that requires reacting to changes within 2 week sprints
  • MUST be able to work independently and have intellectual curiosity
  • Must be able to lead all test activities by Month 3
  • Ability to understand Unix scripts a plus


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, engineering/technical degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands on application development or hands on Control M Pilot experience. Must have recent hands on experience.
  • Must be able to apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot batch issues. Level 1 debugging is required.
  • This is an interactive position and you will have to deal with a multitude of technical individuals, individual must have good written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Should be able to communicate orally in front of a team of people to deliver a presentation and run calls with stakeholders.
