Advisor Application Develop

Job Description
As the Application Development Advisor, you will work with
the business and IT on key projects and initiatives related
to processes for Membership Management (Eligibility). You
will facilitate the discussions related to process changes,
impacts and potentially new functionality. This role will
server as SME on critical initiatives such as Client Connect
and Enterprise Eligibility. You will handle timely and
effective delivery of IT solutions into production. We are
seeking an Advisor who will confirm scope, develop and
handle project plans and implement scope change control
procedures along with monitoring progress, handle issues,
and mitigate risk. Communicate with customers at the
technical level as required. Partner with teams and serve
as authority to provide benchmarked solutions to multiple,
complex technical projects/initiatives within own area of
Additional responsibilities include:
•Establish and ensure alignment to technical direction,
standards, guidelines and methodology for use of specified
technologies in own discipline.
•Plan and manage integration of new technology and
monitor transition from current to new.
•Solve highly technical and complex problems for multiple
projects or teams. As recognized authority, seek out
opportunities to transfer knowledge through counseling
and consultation within and outside of the organization
•Share expertise within or outside organization, educating
through formal and informal means. Educate technical lead on specific technologies.
•Provide technical direction on systems analysis, design,
development, testing and deployment by collaborating with
business analysts, developers, architecture, DRM, quality
assurance, production support, and account teams
•Stay on top of technological trends in the industry and
determine if useful and/or feasible (ie financial impact) and
make recommendations to the organization.

Required Qualifications
•Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional services
environment exhibiting proven client management,
relationship development, analytical and problem solving
skills, and end-to-end experience with software
development methodologies.
•Use of SDLC methodologies and supporting tool sets and
familiarity and exposure to development environments is
•Demonstrated experience successfully leading customer
requirements and/or demands. Background or prior
experience in a development role.
Should have strong technical expertise in mainframe
technologies like COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and SQL
•Ability to communicate effectively with business/build
relationships/understand need and provide solutions.
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects.
•Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.
Demonstrated success in the leading and managing of
people in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications
•Healthcare experience.

BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
experience required (2 years of work experience required
for each year of college not attained).
