As a member of the Global TAS organization, this position will be responsible for attracting and hiring top diverse talent for all Novartis companies which it supports. This role will be functionally aligned with a focus on building R&D depth and talent market knowledge for a particular therapeutic areas. This role will ensure recruitment delivery for the business team it supports while managing customer expectations with a shared vision of impacting the quality of patient lives.

Key responsibilities:
•Work closely with R&D and Medical Affairs Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization.
• Partner with Divisional D&I SME team to leverage external relationships, events and groups to attract targeted talent at all levels of the organization.
•Strategize different ways to build a diverse talent pipeline and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns.
•Find, engage and activate diverse passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and specific search techniques to achieve our D&I aspirations.
•Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to understand niche role requirements and build strategic sourcing plan/timeline to attract a diverse slate of candidates.
•Work closely with the business to identify potential gaps to make data-driven recommendations and prioritize diversity in hiring decisions.
•Research, identify and attract diverse talent to drive passive candidate engagement in different types of industries and geographies to pipeline for future needs.

Minimum requirements

Minimum requirements:
•Solid verbal and written English skills
•BA/BS degree
•4+ years of experience as sourcer, scout or recruiter
• Experience with attracting and engaging with a diverse talent pool highly preferred
• Experience working with all levels of positions including ability to engage with executive level candidates desired
•Ability to prioritize and succeed in a highly ambiguous environment with competing demands.
•Proven commitment to teamwork and collaboration
•Experience with Avature, LinkedIn Recruiter, BrassRing are preferred
• Experience with creating/leveraging relationships with external organizations preferred
• This position must be able to work East Coast hours
