About This Role

This Executive Assistantposition will report into the VP of Human Resources for Research & Development (R&D) and Corporate Functions and will be responsible for providing executive administrative support to include managing Outlook calendars, travel arrangements, expense reporting, facilitating internal meetings and conferences, and coordinating AOP planning and budget management for multiple cost centers.This role also supports the Head of HR for Global Product Strategy & Commercialization and Alzheimer’s business unit.

What You’ll Do

• Provide administrative support to VP, HR – R&D & Corporate Functions and Head of HR for Global Product Strategy & Commercialization and Alzheimer’s business unitwhich includes the following: calendar management, travel, expenses, meeting logistics, technology and team outings/celebrations, etc.
• Coordinate large meetings and/or training sessions. Ensure distribution lists are correct, draft invitations, and send on behalf of team members. Schedule rooms and coordinate production of meeting materials. Track action items, if needed.
• Plan and track multiple budgets. Create all POs, communicate with multiple vendors on project status and invoice submission, track invoices and work closely with finance throughout the year to remain on budget.
• Plan and coordinate events.
• Work collaboratively with other colleagues within HR, as well as those in Legal, Accounting, Employee Resource Networks (ERNs), EHS+S, as well as our on-site services: Aramark, Bright Horizons and the Fitness Centers.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in executive support
• Prior experience in benefits, human resources, or communications desired
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team orientation
• Exceptional organizational and operational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and to perform tasks with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think outside the box
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-confident individual who is comfortable operating with moderate direction and who thrives in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with applicable studies in human resources, business, communications or related field.

Biogen’s US Alzheimer’s Franchise is looking to recruit proven and ambitious sales achievers with at least five years of experience in pharma, specialty, hospital, med device/capital equipment, and/or biotech sales.
In this field-based, specialty sales representative position you will be called upon to sell our products with key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s Disease community: including Neurologists and allied health professionals.
