Job Description

$500 Sign on Bonus for new associates
  • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply
  • Associate must be employed by Pomeroy at the time of payout
  • Bonus paid out as lump sum, after 90 days of employment




Core Function:

The Configuration Specialist will be a part of a team handling the configuration and deployment of new hardware for customer accounts; working at customer sites and/or a warehouse setting.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Responsible for outbound activities such as asset tag scan, palletizing products leaving the integration center, movement of products to packout.

* Will act as an "Inbound" associate introducing the products slated for integration



Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

Read, Write, Speak English

* Technical ability related to desktop

* HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Requirements

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent. College degree in an IT field of study a plus
CompTIA A+ certification a plus
1-2 years of experience preferable
Positive attitude
Ability to juggle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong familiarity with standard IT equipment including, pc's, laptops, print devices, servers, storage, mobile and networking devices. Additional certifications in these areas are a plus, namely Cisco
Previous Point-of-Sale (POS) experience would be beneficial
Project coordination and Project Management skills would be beneficial
Strong familiarity with standard image deployment tools and image deployment methodologies
Excellent communication skills required, both written and oral
Strong MS Office knowledge, skills, and abilities
Strong customer service skills
Oracle EBS knowledge a plus
Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour workshift
