About This Role

You will join the U.S. Multichannel Excellence (MCE) team as a critical business partner to Biogen’s US Alzheimer’s Disease marketing team. You will be accountable for developing, executing, and optimizing brand and segment-level multichannel marketing campaign strategies in support of the Alzheimer’s Disease franchise.

You will leverage strategic and tactical skills to plan multichannel marketing campaigns and engagements and identify optimization efforts to refine tactics based on data and analytics. Reporting to the Director, US Multichannel Excellence, you will act as a change agent to champion efforts to establish Biogen as a differentiated leader in leveraging digital experiences to drive business success.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the single business partner to the Alzheimer’s franchise to understand business needs and recommend digital strategy
  • Provide strategic recommendations on brand and segment-level multichannel campaigns across varied customer groups (Healthcare Professional, Consumer/Patient, Caregiver, etc.) centered on the customer experience
  • Govern the multichannel campaign planning process across Brand, Agency, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Educate brand team on performance of multichannel campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work collaboratively to design and execute optimization tests
  • Oversee campaign operations to deliver on-time, on-budget, and accurate deployment of Alzheimer’s Disease multichannel tactics
  • Partner with Digital Capabilities & Services team to ensure appropriate digital services and platforms are utilized according to standards and best practices
  • Serve as the MCE cross-functional business partner during Alzheimer’s Disease annual planning

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of multichannel marketing strategy, campaign planning, and campaign execution experience (Pharma/biotech industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record developing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns to achieve superior results, demonstrating data-driven strategic thinking, experimentation, customer orientation, and operational excellence
  • Deep understanding of multichannel marketing tactics and digital channels, including but not limited to email, websites, webinars/webcasts, digital media programs, paid search, SEO, social media, mobile apps, digital sales aids, and tele sales
  • Experience designing multichannel customer engagement strategies grounded in understanding of customer journeys
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to assess business results of marketing tactics, define appropriate metrics/KPIs, and maximize value of marketing investment
  • Experience managing and driving accountability with multiple agencies of record to develop and execute marketing tactics

Education

BA/BS required

MBA or other related graduate degree preferred

Biogen’s US Alzheimer’s Franchise is looking to recruit proven and ambitious sales achievers with at least five years of experience in pharma, specialty, hospital, med device/capital equipment, and/or biotech sales.
In this field-based, specialty sales representative position you will be called upon to sell our products with key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s Disease community: including Neurologists and allied health professionals.
