Manufacturing Supervisor- 3rd Shift

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities

  • Training, instructing and supervising employees using established production methods to produce a quality product in a safe and timely manner to meet production demands
  • Give work assignments, procure parts and communicate production demands to employees as well as perform quality and safety audits and generate maintenance requests
  • Fill out production reports, scrap tickets, accident reports and discipline notices while promoting and enforcing company policies, safety rules and work instructions
  • Ensure that production schedules are attained daily while meeting safety, cost and quality objectives
  • Proactively use Lean tools to improve operating efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality and safety results
  • Utilize accurate measurement tools to track area's key indices to identify unfavorable trends and to take corrective action
  • Other duties as required


Qualifications

  • BS in Management or Engineering required
  • At least 5 years of equivalent experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Good written and oral language skills in English
  • MS Office proficient - Computer Literate
  • Must have good attendance record
  • Excellent skills in Teamwork, Personnel, Quality, Safety and Communications
  • Product Knowledge
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Forklift certification experience a plus
