About the Job

The pirmary goal of the Marketing Operations & Insights (MOI) team at TI is to align and operationalize actionable information used by key stakeholders in TI's product lines, sales teams, systems engineering teams, online catalog business and marketing groups as well as finance, operations and other support organizations. The MOI team improves results across these stakeholders by providing industry benchmarking, process enhancements, improved workflows and data-driven analysis tools which accelerate business growth.

This role will be responsible for proposing and facilitating analytics, process improvements, project planning, and marketing operations solutions in collaboration with other TI teams to deliver the following outcomes:

- Facilitate data analysis prototypes, pilots and small-scale ad hoc projects with stakeholders where better intelligence improves business results

- Influence and improve data integrity and governannce

- Conduct semiconductor market research related to competitor landscapes, growth opportunities and product portfolio assessments

- Gain user adoption and entitlement of new marketing operations solutions

Additional responsibilities include:
• Developing systems tools, reports and ad hoc data requests as well as management of processes and systems in support of our functional customers, including websites, applications, and vendor interfaces

• Supporting (maintain and update) application configurations/release cycles and ensuring we are leveraging and utilizing appropriate functionality
• Maintaining security, users and permissions, security groups, rights management
• Assisting in architecting and maintaining interfaces to various data systems
• Supporting Change Management policies and procedures to ensure that changes to the system are introduced in a controlled manner
• Creating and documenting end-to-end audit controls and processes to ensure 100% accuracy
• Coordinating, documenting, and executing test plan and test cases with functional owners and systems team
• Building and sustaining relationships with supporting TI organizations
• Working with IT counterpart on systems task

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business or related degree
• 2+ years of experience preferred; will consider new college graduates
• Advanced or demonstrated skills using MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and data visualization tools

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex problem situations and design/develop/test solutions and enhancements to keep databases available
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to work independently and remain flexible to perform under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results, developing and presenting business cases that clearly show the business value of recommendations
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Proven experience influencing opinions and gaining consensus

Technical preferred abilities:

- Intermediate level experience working with database and BI tools (Tibco Spotfire preferred plus Business Objects, SAP and Oracle)

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into meaningful, descriptive and actionable intellgence and visualizations

- Familiarity with SQL, Excel VBA, R and/or Python programming languanges
