This position will be supporting the successful implementation of new Medicaid and Medicare lines of business that will be implemented on the Behavioral Health Facets platform beginning 2021. As part of this support, the Configuration team requires technical analysts who have the following knowledge base and configuration capability.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Claims Processing
  • Benefit Configuration
  • Core Facets Pricing Configuration (Provider Agreements & Pricing)
  • NetworX Configuration
  • Medical Plan Configuration (Accums, AIAI, Interest rates, UM matching, Deductible rules, etc.)
  • Utilization Management configuration
  • VBR configuration
  • Claims Workflow configuration
  • Facets Security
  • Support/Facilitate/Maintain/Manage Installation and Implementation of Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid lines of business
  • Research configuration and setup installation issues and develop customer specific resolution, where appropriate
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal customers
  • Manage workload in a fast-paced environment adhering to tightly controlled processes
  • Assess and interpret internal customer needs and requirements
  • Serve as a resource to others
  • Execute internal peer to peer audits to ensure quality standards are surpassed
  • Participate in cross functional meetings for miscellaneous project initiatives: review requirements, define requirements, troubleshoot challenges
  • Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems
  • Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
  • Perform additional duties as required and/or assigned
  • Create and deliver high quality system solutions for our applications, products and services across all technology functions. Consult with users and technology specialists to define business processes and the information systems for supporting those processes
  • May perform analysis and also serve as business liaisons to understand and refine business requirements. Provide technical support in developing systems that are cost effective and meet users' requirements
  • Works to create systems that work together in a cohesive manner, enforcing standards and methods consistently across the enterprise
  • Support both new implementations as well as current system improvements and maintenance along with new system development
  • Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the U.S. Healthcare industry
  • 4+ years of Cognizant FACETS experience with proven experience in the following areas:
    • Claims Processing
    • Benefit Configuration
    • Core Facets Pricing Configuration (Provider Agreements & Pricing)
    • NetworX Configuration
    • Medical Plan Configuration (Accums, AIAI, Interest rates, UM matching, Deductible rules, etc.)
    • Claims Workflow configuration
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the following lines of business: Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • 2+ years of DB Querying tools experience (i.e. SQL, Microsoft Access, Hyperion, Toad, etc.)
  • Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements
  • Proven experience with process improvement and/or evaluation of business processes
  • Proven ability to thoroughly test to ensure intended results are achieved

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to solve problems effectively and manage multiple priorities successfully
