Parsons is looking for a Strategic Marketing Lead to enhance our marketing and communications presence within the Critical Infrastructure industry. Our ideal candidate is a storyteller with experience producing and executing creative, versatile marketing communications campaigns in the Critical Infrastructure industry, including both traditional (tradeshows, events, brochures) and non-traditional (grassroots, guerilla, and out-of-home) marketing. They will be highly collaborative, with the ability to work across functions, markets, and business units.

In this role, the new teammate will work closely with the strategic communications team, and larger corporate communications function, to develop, plan, and execute short and long-term marketing strategies that increase the company's position as a leading global Critical Infrastructure company. This individual must be comfortable with ambiguity, unafraid to lead when necessary, and work well with tight deadlines and budgets.

This role can be done remotely from home or nearby a Parsons office in Washington D.C. metro region, Chicago, or Charlotte. Up to 25% travel required.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively collaborate across business units, sectors, and departments to plan and deliver key marketing campaigns, maximizing the effectiveness of the corporation's marketing and business intelligence goals and initiatives.
  • Understand Parsons' products, services, and client base to actively create and nurture targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Partner across functions, business units, and markets to develop event strategies and track, measure and analyze impact of trade shows, sponsorships, and other corporate events - with a focus on maximizing the potential and investment for each engagement
  • Develop and track metrics that measure the success of internal and external marketing campaigns in alignment with the company's strategic direction
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies, achieve enterprise business objectives, stay ahead of the competition, drive innovation and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Use storytelling skills to develop innovative business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans to include events, memberships, and philanthropy engagement.
  • Assist in conceptualizing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across customer lifecycle in accordance with corporate strategy.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
  • 5 - 7 Years' related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of AP Style preferred
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns that connect to the business objectives, and influence target audiences
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with creative eye
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools preferred
  • Knowledge of AEC market preferred
