WHO ARE WE?

We are the Global Health & Wellbeing (H&W) team at Unilever. We are a start-up (less than 2 years old), focused on one of Unilever's largest growth opportunities - the €140bn Health & Wellbeing space defined by Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS).

Unilever's Health & Wellbeing Group holds the company's functional nutrition brands and the portfolio of brands that includes Equilibra (Italy) and US acquired brands Olly, LiquidIV, SmartyPants, Welly and most recently, Onnit. Each brand is completely unique and focused on giving consumers superior experiences within their respective spaces and target segments. We are committed to continue grow this strategic business for Unilever through a series of acquisitions and international expansion of acquired brands through Unilever's scale and network in the markets.

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

We have embarked on a mission to build a world class E-commerce marketing & analytics ecosystem and capability suite that can be leveraged across the H&W brand portfolio. The intent is to supercharge the ecommerce, digital and data capabilities of the operating companies by creating a network of external data, digital and technology partners and leverage Unilever tools to bolster the expertise and capabilities of the companies to grow exponentially. We believe data will be our differentiator as we compete with entrenched brands in the categories. Role will work closely with operating company Ecommerce, Sales, Marketing and Data VPs.

About half of all purchase decisions are digitally influenced. With the ability to link any digital moment right through to purchase in the Connected World, data becomes the key to unlocking new growth opportunities. Unilever ecommerce sales will depend heavily on influencing shoppers to start shopping online more frequently, making larger purchases and buying from a broader array of categories.

The objective of this team is to enable the business teams to create a mutually-profitable and high-growth business with ecommerce retailers.

To excel in this role, you must have passion, proven credentials of driving "data driven" growth and be able to get into the details of the analysis. You will work closely with a team of data scientists and technology teams. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Create and manage "Performance Management" systems for Amazon , DTC and Omni customers
- Lead innovations on data-driven investment optimization and operational efficiency

- Embed and manage smart data analytics tools

- Continuously evaluate and embed data tools for H&W brands
- Develop Machine Learning solutions with external vendors and Customer Development IT team
- Partner with the Global Smart Data team to leverage and contribute to learning networks

  • You know if it's not real-time, it's probably too late: You believe in process automation, assisted and predictive decision making


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in statistical modelling, creating analytics frameworks for retail or ecommerce
  • A deep understanding of the ecommerce shopper journey - demand creation through media, demand `capture, winning portfolio and demand fulfilment
  • Robust experience partnering with analytics agencies and ecommerce business teams to deliver analytics solutions, including data management, forecasting, optimization, predictive modelling and visualization; experience with machine learning a major plus
  • Good understanding of financial metrics, pricing, return on investment and promo evaluations
  • Working knowledge of IT data warehousing and data sources along with experience in marketing automation.
  • Working knowledge of digital media, search and investment optimization
