Job Summary:

The Sr Analyst, Retail Execution Solutions will partner with Hershey's Sales team to lead definition and execution of technology solutions and processes driving our in-store execution at Retail. This includes the delivery of key capabilities including the overall Retail Execution Platform (WIN Mobile/WINHQ/WIN Leaders), Retail analytics supporting in-store decisions, and new capabilities to drive our competitive advantage. Additional touchpoints managing solutions impacting Sales Planning & Retail.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage solutions partnered with the Retail Sales team that will drive our strategic customer partnerships, improve share, drive distribution and secondary displays leveraging technology in an Agile delivery format. This includes:
    • Aligned with IS and Sales leadership, support the development of Hershey's multi-year Retail Execution product roadmap to drive value to Hershey's and our Retailers leveraging our Retail Team.
    • Working together with Sales and IS partners, introduce new concepts and use cases leveraging technology to drive Hershey's competitive advantage at Retail.
    • Leveraging agile ways of working, development of functional requirements to generate new user stories and acceptance criteria, groomed and planned into the sprint planning process and backlog.
    • Perform data analysis on new and existing solutions to best define the data architecture necessary for our tools.
    • Configure solutions where necessary to meet business needs.
    • Support the deployment and rollout of technology solutions developed to our Retail employees.

  • Lead & support the Sales Solution team from an Agile capacity, interacting and providing direction to development team members, outside consultants, and managed services.
  • Manage status communications with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and track down any functional issues and resolve together with technical resources, as needed. Proactively communicate issue resolution to business, customer, and technical teams, as needed.

  • Experience:


    • 3+ years leading initiatives by analyzing systems design, assessing risk, and calculating business value to influence 3rd party software product selection.
    • 3+ years of evaluating business processes to define functional requirements along with future state design to meet business solution needs
    • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases including the ability to structure sql to analyze data to solve problems
    • 3+ years working with Sales automation solutions including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Retail Execution systems
    • Ability to frame up and simplify complex issues, finding root causes and hidden problems. Ability to think holistically and understand the broader implications of introducing changes to a landscape of interconnected, intelligent systems.
    • Ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
    • High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
    • Excellent time management skills, with a high degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision in a flexible work environment.
    • Comfortable with current Microsoft Office Suite (O365) including performing business analysis using Excel and creating presentations in PowerPoint.
    • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and application lifecycle management.
    • Good working knowledge of current Internet, mobile/technology trends and familiarity with cloud technologies.

    • Administration or Architecture Experience
    • SharePoint and Power Apps experience
    • Experience leading and working within an Agile methodology and team, including user story and acceptance criteria development and working with sprints
    • Experience in creating data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or PowerBI to solve business problems
    • Retail and CPG Industry experience working directly with Customers, Clients or Vendors.


    B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field.
