Summary of Job Duties:

Under the direction of the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration serves as the college's chief fiscal officer. The Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration is responsible for the following areas: budget planning, purchasing, auxiliary enterprises, payroll, facilities and grounds, construction, fiscal accounting and reporting, food services, motor pool and information technology.


Master's degree in business administration, financial management, or related field or a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor's degree in business administration, financial management, or related field. A minimum of five years administrative experience in financial management, planning, and operations. Proven expertise in budget and financial reporting. Experience in a college or university environment. Basic understanding of administrative computing. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to mentor and empower staff. A participatory leadership style with a commitment to collaborative decision-making. A commitment to diversity. A commitment to civic engagement and community involvement.
