Summary of Job Duties:

Essential Job Duties:
•\tClean classrooms, offices, and restroom facilities;
•\tMove/arrange furniture;
•\tClean and shampoo floors;
•\tBuff and wax floors;
•\tClean windows;
•\tDust and pick up trash;
•\tAssist with special events;

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.


Must be able to follow written and oral instructions; must be able to perform manual labor: bend and reach without undue physical exertion; must be able to perform general cleaning responsibilities; must have a valid driver's license; and be able to tolerate solvent and cleaning solution odors. Must be able to lift 30lbs, to move tables and chairs and have the ability to use a ladder. Must have the ability to work as a team and promote a positive, professional image for the college. High school diploma or GED and experience in comparable setting is preferred.
