The Opportunity:

Goodman is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Talent Acquisition Recruiter position located at our new facility in Waller, TX. The TA Recruiter The Recruiter is responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment process, including the development and execution of attraction, sourcing, assessment, selection, and acquisition strategies for high quality candidates. This is for external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including entry level, sales, experienced professional/technical, IT, support staff and hourly, and possibly management. May utilize the services of employment agencies. Places employment ads in appropriate sources, including the Internet and print media. May recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs. Responsibilities

May include;
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; social media, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determine applicants' qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Comply with defined processes and ensure the data entry, maintenance of accurate and concise records, documents and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics.
  • Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Maintain knowledge of current legislation; enforce regulations with managers; recommend new procedures; conduct training.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Participate in company projects that will enhance Talent Acquisition and other areas of the company
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including role definition, strategic candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer development/negotiation presentation and on-boarding in partnership with HRBPs and Client Leadership


Qualifications

Nature & Scope:
  • Works with minimal supervision while achieving targets and goals

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Deep understanding of sourcing candidates through various means and channels and full-life cycle of recruiting processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and "customer focus" with ability to positively interact and build relationships with all levels of a rapidly growing geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong working knowledge and utilization of ATS applications and MS Office products - Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Must have in depth knowledge of sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Social Media
  • Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including business acumen
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • High level of attention to detail/accuracy and analytical skills
  • High level of professionalism, personal integrity, dependability and energy
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Effective and good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to recognize and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Flexibility with work hours / days as needed
  • Billingual Vietnamese
  • 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in current full cycle recruiting for Sales, Engineer and Manufacturing positions

Education:
  • High school or GED equivalent
  • BA, BS Degree in Business or Human Resources related field or 4+ years of related progressive experience prefered

Physical Requirements / Working Environment:
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Travel will be required on an as needed basis (up to 30%)
