Job Description Summary

As a Steam Power Field Services & Technical Advising Specialist Intern/Co-Op, you will travel to customers sites and support them with installation, maintenance, and warranty work with industrial power generation equipment. This position will benefit from your technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment as you will implement and execute the work under safety and environmental policies, serving as an example for others and providing full commitment in the deployment of the EHS Policies and any additional project-specific written statement or procedure.

Your role:

  • Successfully complete required Safety and Site Access training

Relocation Assistance:

Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.

Housing Allowance:

Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern's permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

Qualifications required:
  • Junior or Senior Engineering Student (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Facilities, Energy Systems, Etc.)
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Able to legally work in the United States

Pre-employment drug screen is required
