BAE Systems is hiring for a Logistics Rep IV based out of Killeen, TX. In this role, the Logistics Rep provides support by preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities, reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment, documents equipment, component and parts conditions and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings and technical manuals to support life-cycle of product. Coordinates the verification, inspection, and receipt of incoming material to ensure timely delivery to designated areas. Visually checks all incoming material to verify quantity and for any damage to package or contents. Compares accompanying paperwork against contents and original purchasing records to confirm that the proper items have been received and inputs verification of same. Documents missing or damaged parts and completes necessary paperwork. Adheres to company guidelines regarding the proper handling of classified and/or hazardous materials. Routes packages when needed. May assist in the delivery of packages throughout the facility, incorporating the use of power or manual equipment and hand tools to move heavy or awkward materials or packages. Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures along with customer requirements to include transportation routing, schedules and packaging requirements. Verifies quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation. Work with computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree with two (2) years experience, or a High School diploma and four (4) years of experience, or the overall equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills.
  • Solid communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Computer skills to include MS Office Suite and Adobe PDF applications.
  • Highly effective organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% as this is a "road warrior" position.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • GCS-Army training.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
