Summary:

In this role, you will be a strategic sourcing resource, dedicated to delivering best in class contracting strategies and expertise that result in supply chain cost reductions for TPC members.You will contribute to all aspects of supply chain strategic sourcing processes including opportunity identification, strategy building, contract development, negotiations, documentation, and implementation. You will develop a customer-specific contract strategy to reduce spending, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value, and ultimately achieve a higher level of member satisfaction by becoming a trusted adviser.You will achieve results and trusted advisor status through developing key interpersonal relationships with TPC corporate, TPC members, and with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Advisory Solutions, TPC corporate colleagues, and clinical value analysis teams to see initiatives through from start to end with the goal of improving the cost of care.
  • Optimize existing agreements and creating new agreements that incorporate contract language that manages risk, maximizes member capability, and supports market relevant trends.
  • Recommend strategy improvements utilizing financial analysis, market data, and a deep understanding of each TPC member's strategic position.
  • Adapt communication to varying levels to meet the needs of clinical leaders, senior leaders, and colleagues.
  • Negotiate specific terms and conditions while maintaining the best pricing for TPC members.
  • Understand and integrate into TPC's culture while demonstrating Vizient values.
  • Develop project plans with Advisory Solutions and TPC colleagues to meet savings goals.
  • Conduct ongoing price monitoring and contract maintenance to ensure relevant pricing and contract management.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • MBA degree is a plus.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, or a supply chain-related role required.
  • Strong relationship building and strategic partnering skills required.
  • Ability to effectively present complex information in a summary fashion to key stakeholders required.
  • Health care contracting background with experience in successful contract negotiations preferred.
  • This position is based on-site at the TPC corporate office located in Plano, Texas, three or more days / week.


Estimated Hiring Range:
$86,300.00 - $128,400.00
