Job Description
Operations

· Comply with Omnicare policy and procedures at all times

· Adhere to all pertinent local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations

· Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA

· Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines

· Adhere to Omnicare productivity and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained at all times

· Communicate and cooperate with all healthcare professionals to provide optimal care

· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy department, according to Omnicare standards

Processing

· Perform all prescription distribution procedures, in adherence of Omnicare policy and procedure

· Assist Pharmacist with maintaining daily and weekly reports

Participate in pharmacy quality control and performance improvement activities

Perform pharmacy inventory control

Under Direct Supervision of Pharmacist

· Practice and develop duties performed by pharmacists when applicable and according to law

· Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location

Required Qualifications
Completion and in good standing of at least two years at an accredited pharmacy institution

· Cumulative GPA of 2.8

· Commitment to assigned schedule, including rotating shifts and weekend hours, if necessary

· Should be able to work overtime when required

· Must be computer literate

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated.
