Job Description
This is a remote position that can sit anywhere in the United States.
Aetna Medicaid Senior Proposal Writer is responsible for leading pre-RFP and RFP proposal content development activities through collaboration and effective engagement of SMEs. The Senior Proposal Writer facilitates review and gathering of input/content during all Color Team meetings for their assigned sections and develops compelling, relevant, and concise winning content. Their proposal content conveys the appropriate win themes and messages to address the customer's needs and articulate Aetna's value proposition, as well as provide proof and evidence to substantiate the company's offering.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience writing Medicaid managed care proposals
Writing, revising, and editing draft proposal content including executive summaries and organization credentials
Ability to provide strategic guidance to contributors on content and activities that support strong proposal content
Familiarity with the Shipley method
Proven group presentation and facilitation skills
Meets deadlines through the establishment and adherence of timelines and proactive communication and engagement of contributors
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong team collaboration skills
Able to work evenings and weekends as proposal schedule requires
Ability to travel 15%

Managed care experience
Experience designing graphics that compliment proposal content


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
