Quality Inspector II - St. Paul, MN

First Shift - 7:00 am- 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector II located in St. Paul, MN. You will provide independent evaluation of materials, components, and products, and work process within the quality system. You will provide support and ensure compliance with policies and procedures within an atmosphere of

error prevention and continual improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Inspects purchased materials, components, and in-process products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests. Communicates quality concerns to supervisor and production group lead.
  • Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures.
  • Operates all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and as documented in procedures/WIs.
  • Recommends improvement to policies, WIs and procedures.
  • Assists in non-conformances material/product control process.
  • Participates in GR&R studies as directed by engineers or technicians.
  • Collects data for First Article inspections.
  • Performs testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests.
  • May train other Inspectors.
  • Assists in gathering, analyzing, and trending of data
  • Other Duties: Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required.
  • Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Minimum 2 year of experience
  • High School Diploma / GED -Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Related work experience
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. safely from pallet level
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. on a daily basis
