Program Manager, Business Planning and Operations

Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook's success. The Business Planning & Operations team within Recruiting People Planning drives strategic business planning and the cross-functional execution of recruiting priorities to support our ambitions and our ability to scale to the next level.We are looking for a Program Manager to work at the intersection of project management, strategic planning, and business transformation. You will be responsible for developing and supporting workstreams designed to address some of our biggest near- and long-term business opportunities, all while driving collaboration and alignment across multiple teams and cross functional partners. This role requires a forward-thinking mindset, strategic and project planning expertise, ability to influence, and a bias towards action. Successful candidates for this team will have exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills, program management expertise, an astute ability to partner and communicate, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

Required Skills

  • Co-owns recruiting's strategic workflow responsible for managing status and integration of new strategic priorities across the organization
  • Leads and maintains integrated roadmapping workstream, partnering with program leads to support a singular view of recruiting wide workflow and priorities
  • Co-leads annual strategic planning process and manages the strategic planning calendar
  • Drives programmatic reporting to ensure leaders have visibility into program status and prioritization across key workstreams
  • Consults with recruiting leaders, cross functional partners, HRBPs, and others to identify critical org wide inefficiencies, and to establish strategic initiatives, programs, and partnerships to address them
  • Creates and communicates detailed program objectives, plans, and status throughout all phases of program development
  • Supports change management through communication, influence, and training
  • Collects and analyzes data and information through quantitative and qualitative means to understand processes, identify root causes, and to make critical recommendations
  • Drive engagement and management of deliverables across multiple workstreams, leaders, and cross-functional partners

Minimum Qualification

  • 6+ years of program management, operations, or strategic planning experience
  • Experience solving problems using data and providing practical business insights through presentations and reporting
  • Experience communicating effectively with a variety of audiences (internal, external, 1:1 and at scale)
  • Experience influencing leaders through an understanding of business and ecosystem needs
  • Experience resolving and communicating about issues with both data driven and non-data driven audiences
  • Experience working with Excel to analyze data and develop reporting

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelors or Advanced Degree
  • Experience working with international or cross-functional teams
  • Experience with business and/or data modeling
  • Experience with Asana, Microsoft Project, or other PM tools
  • Experienced at influencing and advising senior stakeholders
  • Experience in the business analysis of processes, metrics, workflows, or operations
