National Technical Operations Specialist


The National Technical Operations Specialist's primary responsibility is to service LDS customers by producing high quality ESI products following RICOHs established best practices while utilizing RICOHs defined tools. Resulting in a high quality product containing specific pre-defined load files that enable the loading of data and images into customer or litigation review support systems. This position will also provide technical and production consultation, as required to assist in solving customer's production requirements. The position will work directly with the LDS operations teams to solve technical problems.

  • Work with EDD technical team to perform IPRO e-Capture (set-up, processing, Quality Control, and Export)
  • Sought out as a Subject Matter Expert for front end engineering
  • Solution Driven and able to produce deliverables for multiple platforms
  • Required to lead others
  • Responsible for overseeing projects through transitional phases
  • Perform the functions of the TOS in a local office environment.
  • Possess the ability to communicate standard Shift transition process
  • Able to assist the functional leads with managing multiple projects
  • Manage through PPM interface

Workflow Coordinator -- Intake
  • Expert in understanding the basic and comprehensive work orders
  • Support marketplace locations with Basic and Comprehensive, EDD job check-ins (including supporting Sales with completing the COA in order to achieve the Client's Expected Results)
  • External and internal client interaction
  • Able to apply runtime metrics to projects and map out workflow
  • Able to coordinate a project through all aspects of production
  • Required to validate the proper closure of projects including billing and client satisfaction
  • Capable of articulating solutions including Flex Processor solutions based off clients criteria
  • Consultative approach to the work order acting as technical check for services requested
  • Manage the Chain of Custody process, including the use of the write blocker and RoboCopy
  • Able to talk, coach and train all areas of the EDD work order
  • Functional understanding of EDD tool and other technologies that may be needed
  • Demonstrates the ability to articulate project communication points effectively

  • FTP Uploads and Downloads
  • Able to perform Media Duplication (forensic)
  • Able to utilize RICOHs internal tools to Process Standards(project setup, PPM)
  • Non - RICOH CD import conversions
  • Able to generate pre process reports and provide suggestions
  • Logically identify the best environment to use based on project scope

Discovery and Processing
  • Set up and load projects into EDD tool
  • Able to locate and understand settings and functionality in the EDD tool
  • Able to talk, coach and train on project settings and the cause and effect
  • Able to run a comprehensive EDD data extract or processing project to spec

  • at writing rules and using the Flex Processor
  • Understands the environment and can trouble shoot system configuration settings
  • Expert in efficient project setup
  • Can trouble shoot conversion tool
  • Capable of interpreting and communicating project summary reports

  • Can implement, demonstrate and utilize the QC module and functionality
  • Able to break down projects into manageable parts in e-Capture Quality Control
  • Able to export basic projects directly out of our edd tools
  • Data Manipulation to include bates capture, file renaming and more
  • Load file conversion from one Lit support program to another
  • Non - RICOH CD import conversions
  • The ability to create Custom load files with format builder and the testing of them
  • Load file testing and verification in native applications (Summation and Concordance)
  • FTP Uploads and Downloads
    • Standard Exports and carry out instructions
    • Media Burning and Duplication (Forensic duplication)
    • Complete accurate billing summaries Database conversion from one Lit support system to another.
    • Capable of writing VB scripts to streamline and improve efficiencies
    • The ability to create / edit load files using Access, and Textpad
    • Load file testing and verification in native application (Summation and Concordance)

    QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
    • Requires completion of a four-year degree or related field or equivalent experience.
    • Requires 2-3 years litigation tech support/processing experience within a Litigation Support department or imaging vendor.
    • Requires a working knowledge of the most prevalent Litigation Support software systems such as Summation, Concordance, IPRO eCapture, IPRO OCR/ Build, Introspect and Ringtail.
    • Requires a working knowledge of scanning/imaging concepts, image capture and the image capture industry.
    • Strong knowledge of the EDRM model.
    • Responsible for reporting as directed.
