The Transformation Lead will define, advance, and enable our transformation road map to maximize value and efficiency across our organization. This role will utilize change management principles, processes, and tools to focus on driving financial and operational results via process and behavioral changes; designing change strategy, assessing stakeholder impacts and organizational readiness, recommending and/or implementing appropriate communication, training, and behavioral change solutions, and measuring effectiveness to enhance organization and group performance. This role will help shape the way in which we work and drive change to meet our business and team members expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Planning, managing, and executing critical technology transformations
  • Partner across Business and Technology to outline where best practices definition and consistency are needed. Drive alignment, definition, change management, and communication of best practice to technology organization.
  • Accountable for change management and communication for best practices; writing messages and creating deliverables that communicate purpose, drive visibility and change, and encourage action when needed
  • Provide subject matter expertise to define, support and drive the technology best practices
  • Own transformation and maturity of our agile & DevOps delivery model in partnership with Product Engineering leaders
  • Self-directed development of and execution on project plans
  • Facilitate and manage feedback loop and metrics; execute on outcomes
  • Identify and deliver training/education in support of these activities
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with cross functional and product engineering leaders

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience leading transformation work
  • Proficiency in MS Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
  • Experience and ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Agile strategy, Agile transformation, Agile operating model, DevOps design experience, CI/CD, Product Based Operating Model and Org Design
  • Experience utilizing excellent change management and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Experience utilizing excellent leadership and management skills
  • Experience and ability to drill down to the root cause of issues and be creative in problem solving
  • Ability and established track record of leading multiple projects and initiatives
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • Exceptionally detail oriented, driver, and able to operate in ambiguity
  • Persuasive and can lead people by setting clear vision and creating strong justification for help with little to no oversight
  • Excellent interpersonal skills especially in areas of teamwork, facilitation, influence, and negotiation

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
