MIM is currently seeking highly motivated professionals to join its Institutional Client Group (ICG) in a role that is directly responsible for completing Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Institutional Consultant Databases and updating product marketing materials (pitchbooks and factsheets) on a quarterly basis. This position is currently remote and will transition to a hybrid work schedule in 2022.

The position requires a self-motivated, extremely organized and diligent professional who possesses existing experience or interest in drafting RFPs and RFIs for institutional asset managers. In addition, the ideal candidate must be comfortable in actively collaborating with multiple departments across the organization, including senior investment professionals, portfolio specialists, sales and relationship management, operations, legal, and compliance. In addition, this position will require prior experience and familiarity with institutional consultant databases such as eVestment, Mercer GIMD, Morningstar, Callan Associates, DiligenceVault, among others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • RFP Project Management: Assist with the RFP process from A to Z, including leading RFP Kickoff calls with key subject matter experts (SMEs), establishing project timelines, securing required sign-offs from Legal/Compliance and ensuring professional and high quality bids are submitted on time and to the highest professional standard.
  • RFI and Due Diligence Questionnaires: Complete ongoing RFI and due diligence questionnaires from prospects, clients and consultants, as needed.
  • Institutional Consultant Databases: Populate both quantitative and qualitative data on a quarterly basis for the Firm and its key product offerings to institutional consultant databases to drive product approvals and product visibility.
  • Marketing Materials: Continuously maintain the Firm's inventory of standard presentation pitchbooks and summary factsheets on a quarterly basis across public fixed income, private capital and real estate investment products.
  • Keep abreast of changes within the firm, product offerings and asset management industry, ensuring changes are consistently reflected in RFPs
  • Help develop the RFP team's profile with the investment, product management and sales teams; build relationships and develop strong knowledge of product management, marketing and sales initiatives.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Possess a strong degree of attention to detail
  • Have a proven track record of handling high volume projects under tight deadlines with measurable results
  • Be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously and successfully lead projects with limited oversight
  • Have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience drafting RFPs specifically for institutional asset managers who offer public fixed, private capital or real estate investment strategies
  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field
  • Experience using Qvidian, Salesforce CRM, SharePoint, TaskRay, eVestment Analytics and eVestment Market Lens
