The Role at a Glance

This position will plan, develop and deliver on complex training & communications initiatives aimed at improving consideration and engagement with key broker/consultant partners through value-add education offerings. Youwill provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders & leadership on the development external broker education programs that are aligned to support business goals & objectives. Youwill lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex training plans and programs. Program execution may include creating and delivering both learning events and continuing education courses, preparing presenters and program measurement.

What you'll be doing

  • Partners with subject matter experts to maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for group benefit product offerings, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Develops external training programs, offerings, and content to educate key broker and consultant partners on current trends and continuing education topics.
  • In addition to delivering content themselves, proactively coaches presenters to deliver content appropriate for the format (virtual, in-person, hybrid, or on-demand) and audience.
  • Creates programs that incorporate adult learning best practices blended with an approach that delivers an engaging, memorable learner experience.
  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Develops, implements and evaluates complex training plans and programs for their assigned area(s) of responsibility to meet departmental training objectives.
  • Develops complex and comprehensive training materials, manuals, procedures and/or visual aids to meet objectives of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Develops and conducts training needs assessments and determines complex training requirements for new program development.
  • Conducts training and ongoing training evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommends complex and/or highly comprehensive training modifications as necessary.
  • Serves as a trusted training subject matter expert and ensures training materials, procedures, plans and/or programs reflect business needs and specifications of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Directs, conducts and/or participates in complex training projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Proactively collaborates and communicates with internal/external stakeholders to address complex training gaps to support organizational performance.

What we're looking for

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid/Home:Employees will work from home generally three days each week and come into a Lincoln office on a schedule their manager will help set, following any applicable in-office training period determined by their manager.
