The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Quantitative Trading Strategies Intern to join our 2022 Summer cohort. As a Quantitative Trading Strategies Intern, you will be a contributing member of our industry-leading market risk management team. Interns will work alongside senior team members, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, assisting in development and improvement of the hedging strategies, product designs, derivatives valuation software, and trading platforms that we use to mitigate the market risk of our >$100B VA/FIA/RILA book.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:
  • College rising- junior or senior
  • Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 6, 2022 - August 5, 2022
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong quantitative background
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice-to-haves:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of capital markets instruments and hedging strategies
  • Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (Python, R, C#, C++, etc.)
