General Purpose of the Job

Lincoln's innovative marketing team is looking for a Senior Investment Marketing Manager to provide subject matter expertise and help accelerate the preference and use of Lincoln's insurance and retirement products through the delivery of investment-focused marketing, storytelling, content, and campaigns. As the investment marketing lead, this individual will drive the strategic marketing roadmap, identifying the best ways to leverage solution-based programs, fund information and content to drive key business objectives and goals. Duties and Responsibilities

    • Demonstrates a deep understanding of current and emerging developments/market trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborates with marketing, funds management, sales and senior management to drive new marketing programs, content and campaigns, driving current and future solutions for LFDs businesses
    • Collaborates with creative partners to develop a broad range of resources to communicate investment concepts and fund performance, including but not limited to monthly/quarterly reports, fund/market commentaries, market presentations and fund facts-at-glance.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert and partners with internal stakeholders to develop and implement complex marketing approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position of our fund offerings and insurance and retirement products
    • Ensures content is relevant, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for our target audiences
    • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
    • Builds relationships and partners with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, define and transform complex concepts into simple positioning and marketing stories; communicates and ensures that marketing plans are understood by all stakeholders/team members
    • Leads, directs and coordinates the development, layout and design of marketing-from inception to execution including, but not limited to project and resource planning, change management, communications planning and managing changes to project scope.
    • Identifies and recommends solutions to improve marketing programs and processes.
    • Ensures full investment collateral set is accurate, relevant and compliant with regulatory requirements and consistent with Lincoln's editorial and brand standards
    • Analyzes and guides the development of complex performance metrics and benchmarks to track and assess the effectiveness of marketing programs, tools and collateral
    • Participates and influences continuous business planning and prioritization efforts.
    • Identifies and directs implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s

Education

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

Experience

5 7+ Years experience in marketing that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required )

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid/Home:Employees will work from home generally three days each week and come into a Lincoln office on a schedule their manager will help set, following any applicable in-office training period determined by their manager.
