Do more with the knowledge you're working hard to acquire and the passion you already have. At Amgen, our shared mission-to serve patients-drives all that we do. It is key to our becoming one of the world's leading biotechnology companies, reaching over 10 million patients worldwide.

Undergrad Intern - Global Business Solutions (Summer 2022)

During this 10-13 week program, you will have the opportunity to partner with Amgen's Global Business Solution leaders and experience our mission-driven culture firsthand. Each summer intern will be placed on a team and assigned a meaningful project that's tied directly to our strategic and tactical goals.

These projects give interns the opportunity to think analytically, build a strong foundation. We provide several opportunities for executive and social networking events and to participate in community volunteer projects while providing a competitive compensation package.

There are four different opportunities within Amgen's Global Business Solutions (GBS) Organization. The Global Business Solutions team enables Amgen functions to maximize value related to goods, services, people, and space.

Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS)

GSS is within the broader Finance and Global Business Solutions organization, provides strategic oversight and execution to manage our broad external spend. GSS utilizes a standard sourcing process.

Global Learning Solutions (GLS)

An internal center of experts providing effective and efficient training administration and learning solutions across Amgen. The intern will have the opportunity to provide analytics and help manage GLS's portfolio of learning solutions.

Travel, Expense, and Card (TEC)

Travel, Expense, and Card manages corporate expenses related to travel & employees. This group analyzes, tracks, & audits these corporate expenses to ensure Amgen Financial Policies are upheld.

People Services

People services supports payroll, mobility (relocations/immigration), HR technology, and global stock plans and benefits. The intern in People Services will work across these teams that provide direct support to Amgen's employees.

Live

This could be your everyday

Let's do this. Let's change the world. During our summer program, interns experience a fast paced, hands on environment under the mentorship of an GBS Manager. We match interns to meaningful and challenging projects that deliver lasting value.
