POSITION PROFILE

The National Technical Operations Specialist's primary responsibility is to service RICOH's customers by producing high quality ESI products, providing elite service and training for eDiscovery processing and hosting tools This position will also provide internal and external client facing technical and production consultation, as required. The position is required to work directly with clients. They will be required to support other infrastructure needs such as project tracking, FTP, Acumen and more. The position will support other areas of the business as required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Advanced proficiency in all eDiscovery processing for Ricoh.
* Sought out as a Subject Matter Expert for front end engineering, project scoping, etc....
* Solution driven and able to produce deliverables for multiple platforms.
* Required to lead or oversee other project tasks.
* Must possess excellent customer service skills and be capable of client facing interaction.
* Responsible for overseeing projects through transitional phases, while assisting the functional leads with managing multiple projects.
* Manage and update project status through PPM interface.
* Able to apply runtime metrics to projects and map out workflow.
* Required to validate the proper closure of projects including billing and client satisfaction.
* Capable of articulating solutions, guiding workflow and supporting the project management teams with technical resources.
* Consultative approach to the daily work requests.
* Understands Ricoh's broad service offerings and can guide the work through the proper solutions to ensure efficiency.
* Set up and load projects into RICOH's eDiscovery tools including Relativity, Nuix and Venio.
* Able to navigate and use review and search technologies.
* Able to talk, coach and train internal and external users on project settings and the cause and effect.
* Understands the environment and can trouble shoot system configuration settings.
* Capable of writing scripts to streamline and improve efficiency and productivity.
* The ability to create / edit load files using Access, Notepad++/ Textpad.
* Develops and implements advance project workflows in collaboration with Sales and PM teams.
* Supports the development of best practice documentation and workflow.
* Support Tier 2 issue resolution for Venio or other eDiscovery tools as required.
* Coordinate Tier 3 support through the infrastructure team or software vendor.
* Able to complete required Ricoh training modules by stated deadline.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

• Requires completion of a four-year degree or related field or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 2-3 years litigation tech support/processing experience within a Litigation Support department or eDiscovery service provider.
• eDiscovery or Forensic certifications such as RCA, CEDS desirable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in using one of the following: Text Editor, Microsoft Access/ SQL and Visual Basic for Applications.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently with little direct supervision and maintain focus.
• Outstanding customer service skills including an ability to follow-up to ensure closure of issues – views internal colleagues and external clients as critical to their personal success.
• Working knowledge of databases and data processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft office, social media, C#, Blazer, and other scripting tools.
• Requires a working knowledge of the most prevalent Litigation Support software systems such as Relativity, Nuix, Venio, Ipro, online review, forensic software, EDRM workflow or other related tools
• Responsible for reporting as directed.
• Commitment to excellent client experience as a primary refection of their success.
• Deadline driven. Able to complete projects in a timely manner or anticipate potential issues meeting the stated deadline.
