Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Brand Manager, Pediatric Innovation .

Commercial Marketing is responsible for multiple product lines and/or a significant business or product line. Incumbent is accountable for all aspects of managing the product line including P&L. Actions and decisions can a f fect attainment of Pediatric and Division financial goals and objectives.

  • ll marketing activities for the launch of a new product portfolio including P&L responsibility.
  • Responsible for the development, management, and execution of strategies, innovation and tactical programs to e f fectively achieve commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives.
  • Additional responsibilities include development of innovation pipeline, long-term equity management, strategic business planning, forecasting, financial analysis and project management.

  • Develop and provide strategic planning and commercial input to the development of the assigned product line. Direct the analysis of the business; oversee the identification of key segment business drivers, priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Lead key innovation projects within our stage and gate process delivering compelling business cases for advancement.
  • Establish marketing strategies for product(s) including advertising/promotions, pricing strateg y , distribution channel management, product development, tactical plan development and execution including the activation of robust personal and non-personal HCP efforts.
  • Participate in the development of business plans, identify areas of concern and modify marketing programs to address changes in the marketplace.
  • Develop and execute financial models, market distribution and launch plans, pricing strateg y , distribution/ service strateg y , situation analysis and assessment of opportunities, ongoing surveillance of emerging technologies and competitive activities, advisory boards and focus groups.
  • Assess new indications and potential market expansion opportunities.
  • Present product and marketing programs to S r . Management.
  • Oversee the development of selling tools for the field, which includes the coordination of internal marketing research and market claims testing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. These groups include external customers and consumers, Field Sales, R&D, Regulatory A f fairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public A f fairs, Marketing and Executive Management and external vendors or agencies.


  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing. MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and P&L responsibility of the position
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible product management experience in either health care & Consumer packaged goods or OTC marketing

  • Financial and budget management experience and skills.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership competencies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and success in project management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans.
  • Strong analytical skills including experience with financial models.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
