WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are recruiting for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team at the Austin, TX location. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing various initiatives, reporting, and analytics in support of the Sales Operations team and the Workbench and Sales Force platforms. Specifically, you will be working on purchase order management, billed/credit/rebill issues, fielding general invoicing questions, and resolving inventory logistical issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain understanding of Sales Operations processes, other key functional area processes, as well as various IT systems used in support of the sales force.
  • Develop and maintain reporting & analytics for the Sales Operations team, the sales force, Salesforce platform, and management used in managing invoicing and field inventory.
  • Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement projects to drive down the number of incidences addressed by the Sales Operations Specialists or to allow the Sales Operations Specialists to become more efficient in addressing incidents. This is to include initiatives to increase automation, which will require working with various IT and Business Analyst teams.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures for Sales Operations Specialist to use in daily operations.
  • Develops strong, positive working relationships with Sales Operations team members, Customer Service team members, Quality team members, Field Sales Representatives and Managers, and other personnel this position will interact with on a daily basis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for specified initiatives, interacting with the key stakeholders (Customer Service Management, Sales Force, Finance/Marketing, and Customer) to ensure that project objectives, schedules, and deliverables are established and met.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop project requirements, scope, and execute on final project delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional groups in developing and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to increase operational discipline and control costs including OCOGS (Other Cost of Goods Sold) reduction through business process improvement, automation, and policy change.
  • Maintains comprehensive electronic filing system to ensure all information is easily retrievable as requested
  • Remains current on developments in field(s) of expertise, regulatory requirements, as well as industry trends. Remains abreast of technical advancements.
  • Act as a proxy for the Manager of Sales Operations as necessary when not available


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, including performing general variance analysis, forecasting, sales analysis and/or sales reporting
  • Advanced level proficiency with MS Excel (i.e. Pivots, VLOOKUP, macros, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a geographically diverse, matrixed organization

Preferred
  • Advanced level degree
  • Medical device and/or healthcare experience
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce and/or Business Objects
