Co-op: Technology, Analytic and Data Insights

Job Description

This application is for a full-time 6-month co-op from January to June 2022.

Youwill work within Global Safety and Regulatory Sciences (GSRS)GlobalPharmacovigilance (GPV) Operations to support theTechnology, Analytic and Data Insights (TADI)team.Youwill work withinthe TADITeam supportingeffortsto buildourteam'sbrandandwill work in accordance with industry standard practices, global regulatory expectations, and Biogen standards.


As a co-op, you will:
  • Assesscurrent reports, outputs,solutions,and analyses generated by the team
  • Propose solutionsanddefine approach to achieve a singular TADI brand
  • Define and developQCprocesses to govern testing
  • Create standard templates to streamlineprocesses which requiredocumentation
  • Meet with GSRS report content owners to understand use of outputs and possible improvements
  • Partner with TADI team members on requirements gathering, development and implementation of deliverables.


  • Experience/knowledge of user interface design
  • Knowledge of reporting/analytic/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Statistical Analysis System (SAS), BusinessObjects, etc.)
  • Interest in both technical solutions and process optimization
  • Desire to expand knowledge/interest in reporting and analytic tools and processes
  • Detail-oriented with analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and fast/enthusiasticlearner
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in group settings
  • Have excellent organizational skills

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university


Bachelor's ormaster'sdegree inlife sciencesand/orcomputer science, softwareengineering orrelated subject


This position may be based in Cambridge MA, or Research Triangle Park, NC.

In this field-based, specialty sales representative position you will be called upon to sell our products with key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s Disease community: including Neurologists and allied health professionals.
