Co-op: Medical Evaluation

Job Description

This application is for a full-time 6-month co-op from January to June 2022.

Youwill work within Global Safety and Regulatory Sciences (GSRS)GlobalPharmacovigilance (GPV) to support theIndividual Case Safety Report (ICSR)Medical Evaluation team.Youwill work within the ICSR Medical Evaluation Team supporting medical review-related activitiesandwill work in accordance with industry standard practices, global regulatory expectations, and Biogen standards.


As a co-op, you will:
  • Assess and document medical evaluation of ICSRs
  • Actively participate in team meetings
  • Take part in tasks related to the MedDRA annual release
  • Participate in medical review oversight activities
  • Participate in medical review related process improvement projects

  • Self-motivated and fast learner
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in group settings
  • Have excellent organizational skills

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university


PharmD,nursing degree, ormaster'sdegree inrelevant healthcare or life science discipline
