We're excited to bring on a Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst, to our newly expanding Chief Risk Office. you will help support the continued development and implementation of the Lincoln Financial Group's Enterprise Risk Management program. Working with the lines of business and critical areas within risk will be required to remain effective in this role. The Enterprise Risk Management Group is part of a team reporting into the Chief Risk Officer.
The goal of this group is to deliver insightful, added-value, actionable risk analytics and governance that drive business results. The Senior Analyst will help identify, assess, and prioritize risks while developing processes to measure and report such risks throughout the organization. The Senior Analyst will assist with all aspects of Lincoln's ERM framework but maintain a focus towards the asset side of the balance sheet.

What we're looking for:

Must have:
  • 5-7+ years of financial analysis, engineering, capital markets, and/or modeling
  • Understanding of market consistent embedded value
  • Working knowledge of quantitative investment/derivative strategies and risk management
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in math, business, or another quantitative field

Computer skills:
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with projection software systems
  • Familiarity with programming languages
  • Familiarity with business visualization tools

Nice to Have:
  • Relevant experience in life insurance industry
  • FRM/PRM/CQF or CFA designation

What you'll be doing:

Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst / ERM specific responsibilities
  • Risk Analysis
  • Develop, implement, and manage enterprise governance (ex. counterparty) frameworks key to risk mitigation.
  • Leads the calculation, aggregation, and reporting of asset risks within the Economic Capital (EC) framework.
  • Develops robust capabilities for an end-to-end view on risks at the company.

Special Projects
  • Researches and prepares briefings on status of key projects, initiatives, and industry issues such as climate change.
  • Strategically leverage ERM tools such as EC to analyze risks of projects and strategic decisions from an enterprise perspective

Relationships and Communication
  • Consults with Enterprise Risk Management leaders on strategic and risk-related issues
  • Helps identify, measure, and communicate total enterprise risk issues
  • Establishes effective working relationships throughout the organization, both at the corporate level and within the businesses.
  • Facilitates risk assessment discussions and analyses throughout the organization.
