Spare Parts Attendant

As Spare Parts Attendant you will be responsible for assisting with the organization, documentation and processing of parts requests, and the locating and issuing of on-site stock, non-stock and consumable items by request. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Follows all Safety, Quality, Company and Site policies and procedures. Coordinates customer needs. Processes parts requisitions and assist associates to find requested parts. Performs inventory and updates records. Helps communicate order statuses or issues. Escalates issues to supervisor in a timely manner. Prepares reports and completes various other tasks as needed, such as shipping and receiving and assists the Buyer as needed. Provides substantive ideas for process improvements. Identifies cost savings initiatives. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: High School Diploma/Equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Associate's degree with focus in Pharmaceutical manufacturing spare parts logistics. A heightened knowledge of spare parts room's practices and procedures. A heightened knowledge of materials, products, and the commodity market for the site. Excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong computer knowledge, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge/experience of and/or ability to adapt to internal SAP/ERP system.
