Job Description
The Executive Office for United States Attorneys' (EOUSA) is responsible for providing administrative, technical and legal support to all 94 United States Attorneys' offices (USAOs) located in over 200 geographically dispersed sites throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Guam, the Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The EOUSA Enterprise End User Technologies (EEUT), Enterprise Application Development (EAD), Enterprise Voice Services (EVS) and CyberSecurity Services (CSS) Staffs provide for the identification and analysis of the business needs/requirements to USAOs necessary for the design, development, and deployment of secure office automation, wide and local area networking, case management and other applications. All four of these staffs must rely on contractors to deliver high level technical services needed to maintain the technology deployed in EOUSA and USAOs.
Deputy Technical Program Manager with demonstrated leadership ability to independently manage complex programs. Performs supervision and direction to ensure quality deliverables while managing costs, scheduling, and resources. Collaborates with EOUSA's Chief Information Officer and Senior IT Staff, and performs work independently to ensure that program goals and objectives are met. Has direct past experience which demonstrates personal and business unit commitment to the SEI Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and/or to International Standards Organization (ISO) 9000 certification, including experience with external or internal evaluations or appraisals of ISO9000 or SEI CMMI. Certification in Project Management required (PMI certified preferred). Experience in Jira preferred.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
The successful candidate will effectively manage project, project governance, coordinate resources, coordinate projects, and facilitate communications within our customers organization. Programs may have multiple projects or efforts running in parallel, depending on priority or capacity. Programs may leverage multiple customer branch offices and touch on other aspects of the customer Lines of Business.

The current project management Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) requirements are applied to grouped delivery or iterative transition/implementation activities. There are formal review board functions on an ad-hoc, or weekly basis, where all decisions and configuration changes are reported/tracked through the management approval process and each core area has the ability for input on operational and infrastructure alignment of services changes. Our teams also utilize the Atlassian suite of tools such as JIRA, for project management.

Our customer will have several ongoing projects throughout the year, and in some instances, projects will take several years to complete.
Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers

Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector

Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in hardware integration and support, Cloud projects, and web technologies

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project software such as MS Project 2016, Jira, etc.

Understanding of SCRUM and Agile practices.

PMI Project Management Professional certification is a requirement.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Project management experience leading projects to an AZURE or AWS cloud presence
