We are looking for a Cloud Engineer / Subject Matter Expert to add their skills to our team supporting infrastructure services and enterprise engineering efforts for DIA IT Infrastructure Services and networks. This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity where you will support a dynamic operational customer, and help advance the United States military's analytic and operational capabilities.

As an industry leader; you will be sought to provide advice and guidance on the design, development, and maintenance of new and existing Cloud technology.

In this job, you will:
• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes
• Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives
• Perform highly specialized and technical tasks associated with the most current and cutting-edge Cloud technologies
• Design domain and child domain architectures with monitoring solutions, familiarization with enterprise security compliance
• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
• Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
• Research and evaluate new concepts and processes to improve performance.
• Analyze cross-functional problem sets, identify root causes, and resolves issues.
​​​​​​​• Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
​​​​​​​• Analyze user's requirements concept of operations documents and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
• May serve as a technical consultant to a project or a number projects dealing with area of technical expertise
• Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs
​​​​​​​• Assists more junior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma + 16 years relevant experience
• Associate's Degree + 14 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree + 12 years relevant experience
• Master's Degree + 10 years relevant experience
• PhD + 8 years relevant experience
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (Security+ or other) Training and Certifications

Required Experience includes
Experience with cross domain solutions, deployment of enterprise artifacts in multi-domain architectures
Experience with configuration of Vmware, and Vsphere, deployment of virtual machine instances
Experience with enterprise testing and lab environments, active directory, PKI infrastructure, and ADFS.
Experience with procurement, testing and approval of enterprise lab tools such as Ansible, Chef, Splunk, Sonar Cube, and other lab environment tools.
Demonstrated ability to perform exceptionally complex, inter-discipline, inter-organizational tasks of senior level technicians, specialists, and/or managers
Works well both individually and as a key member of a senior leadership team.
Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and takes steps to resolve issues when needed
Provides expert guidance and direction to both senior-level Government and Vendor decision-makers, technicians and managers.
Directs multiple contractor and subcontractors teams through project completion.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor' Degree in a STEM field
